For true healing to occur, a person must experience change in their head (thinking), heart (core beliefs), and hands (behaviors). Sexual bondage is not a respecter of age, gender or nationality. Pure Desire creates groups for men and women of all ages and backgrounds, whether they are the one struggling or the one impacted by the struggle of another. True change is not possible in isolation. Therefore, we champion safe, confidential groups with a high commitment level as central to the healing process. These groups are led not by experts, but by lay leaders qualified through experience.

Being a grace-filled person is not something learned in a classroom; it is a journey. Rodney Wright is a seasoned traveler—understanding the value of embracing the full and radical grace of Jesus Christ and how it changes the way we see the world.
With addiction having a holding place in his life, Rodney knows the destructive nature that sex addiction creates in marriage and ministry. Through decades of pastoral ministry, Rodney is wildly passionate about the pursuit of showing people who they are in Christ, modeling how freeing it is when we belong to a community that fully embraces our messiness with love and grace.
Rodney has embraced his life’s mission of showing all people how much they are loved by their Creator and how valuable they are in His eyes.
Rodney Wright is an Advancement Specialist and a Board Member for Pure Desire. He travels with his wife Traci speaking on behalf of Pure Desire Ministries. They have been married for 30 years and have three adult children. Rodney enjoys family, traveling, hunting, fishing, and helping others see just how much God loves them.
